EASI’R allows you to attach files not only to emails, but also to different pages in the system, such as Cases, Contacts, and Accounts. If files were added to the Filemanager beforehand, you can simply select the relevant file in the folder you uploaded it to. You can also attach files directly, without going to the menupoint filemanager first.
Attach a file from the filemanager:
- Open the case/contact/account you want to attach a file to.
- Scroll all the way down.
- Click the button ‘Filemanager’.
- Find the folder, that contains the needed file.
- Select the file and click ‘Select file’.
Attach a file from your local storage:
- Open the case/contact/account you want to attach a file to.
- Scroll all the way down.
- Click the button ‘Filemanager’.
- Choose the folder, the newly uploaded file should be in, or create a new folder.
- Click ‘Upload file’ in the top right corner.
- Find the file in your local storage and upload it.
- Check the box next to the file and click ‘Select file’.
Attach files to emails:
- Of course you can also attach files to emails.
- Create an email activity.
- In the email editor, click 'attachments'. You can now click 'Filemanager', or - if files have already been added to this case - 'Case attachments'.
- Click either one, depending on where your file is located.
- Filemanager: Filemanager opens und you can select the needed file from the filemanager or your computer as described above.
- Case attachments: An overview of all files attached to this case opens. You can check the file you wish to attach and klick 'Select file'.
