There can be several reasons why you need to find a specific case. Let’s say, you just received a phone call from a contact regarding a brochure you sent him or her earlier. Since you have interacted with the contact previously, there should already be a case. Now you want to find this contact’s case, in order to register the new phone call and any additional information. There are two ways to find that case:
- Via contacts: Find the contact that the case relates to. On the contact page, you will find all cases relating to this contact. If you need help finding a contact, click here.
- Via cases: Click on 'cases' in the main menu on the top: You will now see a list of all of your (or your teams'/groups') open cases. You can now either use the freetext search field to find your case (enter for example contact name or case number), or you can filter by:
- Team (if you are in more than one team)
- User
- Lead type
- Relations path
- Sort by ('Missing action' or 'Latest')
Note: If you use the freetext search whilst still having a filter enabled, you will only search within the parameters of the filter.
You can also look for closed or declined cases or simply search through all cases by selecting the appropriate tab. Once you found the case you were looking for, just click on it and the case view with all case information will open.
